"But this rough magic I here abjure, and, when I have required Some heavenly music, which even now I do, To work mine end upon their senses that This airy charm is for, I'll break my staff, Bury it certain fathoms in the earth, And deeper than did ever plummet sound I'll drown my book. "
Chateau D'If is officially no more. For two years I have supplied you with the shadier details of my life, and in return i have received fanmail and a lot of hatemail from people named within entries.
But I simply do not have the time to do this anymore. I have taken every previous post and archive offline. The main reason I have done this is because of a deal with Soft Skull Press. They are going to publish my memoirs in mid 2006. Much of the material in that book is from this site, so according to "why buy the cow" logic I had to dismantle this site.
If you would like any previous memoir entry, I will send it to you if you email me. Just be clear about what you are requesting. You should also email me if you wish to get on the list for the book (as of yet untitled). I'll email you when it's available, and possibly send you a free copy if you pay shipping.
